The diagnosis and retirement happened about one year ago!
And there is a downhill spiral going on.
There is no way of knowing if it will slow down, stay still, or even if the momentum will increase.
And now, I am not even sure there are enough funds to cover our lifestyle, or our new medical situation.
Too often people think their working life will have a happy ending. That they will work hard all their life, and then it's time to retire.
You spend your golden years doing all the things you planned for. All the things you couldn't do while you were working.
And then, your income drastically decreases, and your expenses could actually increase!
How can life be so cruel.
It is very, very frustrating to enter into the last phase of your life with NOT enough funds.
It just shouldn't have happened that way.
